I had the privilege of taking part in the most primitive moment for a human being, the act of giving birth in one's own home. For 30 hours of contractions and through unspeakable strength and endurance by her mother, Malu came into life in our very room.
From June 19 to July 10, before she was born, I would go to the post office and send Malu a postcard. On each postcard I would write a simple, childlike dialogue so that this moment was materialized.
Then in a cardboard box I stored the major magazines and newspapers from June 29, 2015, along with the postcards. Together, they will be given to her on June 29, 2030 at 8:43 in the morning.
